Introduction:

Electrical equipment represents a sizable investment and is critical to your operation. When installed on your site and properly maintained, it is expected to have a long and trouble free life. The elements, however, start working against you from the day of installation. Whether your equipment requires an environmentally controlled atmosphere or you just want the convenience of a complete, pretested, easily installed package, we have the solution.

Factory- built equipment centers have become a popular alternative to the scheduling problems, excessive installation cost and the total quality issues associated with site built, site wired and site tested electrical equipment.  SMC is also a recognized manufacturer of AC and DC switchgear, transformers, rectifiers and various control systems.

Environmentally Protected Equipment Centers are available complete and ready-to-ship for installation at the customer's project site. Any customer-provided equipment can be installed and wired and tested by SMC prior to shipment. Customers are invited and encouraged to witness the tests and operation of all equipment prior to shipment.
